Danilo Dawson brings to life the legend of La Tirana (Chile) thanks to a singular sound fusion and a powerful stage presence.
He is a Chilean musician and composer, inspired by his childhood landscapes; he has musically recreated the story of a demon who embraces his shadow accompanied by a snake that lives on his infinity shaped horns, eating his tail like the Uroboros.
The artist finds his sound inspiration in classical jazz, (classical jazz trios such as Keith Jarret and Bill Evans, just to name a few), not forgetting Latin music influenced by geniuses such as Piazzolla and Jobim.
These sounds are translated into the El Oopart musical color, as well as the sense of Latin American identity wrapped in a technical sophistication balanced with the creative honesty of Danilo Dawson…
