Dario Acosta Teich
Dario Acosta Teich is a guitarist, composer, and arranger born in Tucumán, Argentina, living in New York since 2019.
During his career as a musician, he participated in important festivals such as “Festival Guitarras del Mundo ”,“ Festival Nacional de Cosquín ”, “Jerusalem International Jazz Festival ”, among others.
He shared the stage and recorded with several of the most recognized musicians in Argentina.
Its music has been recommended by referents of the Israeli music scene, such as Idan Raichel, Albert Beger, Achinoam Nini, and David Broza.
In 2017 he was invited to record in New York with William Parker (one of the worldwide current references of free jazz) on his album “Voices fall from the sky”.
So far it has been performing in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Israel, Palestine, Spain, Belgium, France, Holland, England, Czech Republic, Austria, the United States, and Canada.
His album “To Fly” was released by the label Mulatta Records in New York (United States) in January 2019 and in the same year he was nominated for the “Mercedes Sosa” awards in Argentina in the Best category instrumental album.
